Several technical papers published in TATA and international journals and has received National Metallurgist Day Award (India), Gold Medal by Essar and OP Jindal. Presently he is MD of U V Associates (business excellence consultancy) & is actively advising in strategic matters of EESPL.

Civil Engineer, experienced on Detail Design, Engineering of Steel Plants across India and overseas. Design and Engineering of Merchant Mill of Durgapur Steel, 5 Stand 6 HI Rolling Mill of Hero Cycles, Bar Mill of Powmex Steels, Continuous Casting Plant of Rourkela, Modernization of IE06 of Bokaro Steel, Rolling Mills of UGSMC of Saudi Arabia are some in his credit during his tenure with MECON. Executed several projects for NMDC, ISP, MECON, Bhushan Steel and Elina Energy.

Having 37 years in depth Sinter making process and ESP stack emission control knowledge in Tata Steel Jamshedpur and UK Sinter making units.
